Showering a 45 degrees gives you more elbow room in the cubical, making the best of that wasted space. The shower spray is away from the door helping keep those drips off the bathroom floor.
Not only is the shower valve accessible from inside the shower, whether seated or standing, but on some models it is also easy to reach from outside too.
The shower head is right where you need it, handy for washing down after a spot of personal grooming. A shelf provides space for all the bits and bobs you need, we all need a bit of pampering sometimes.
